Types of Airport Car Parking

There are 3 main parking options you can choose when pre-booking your Airport Parking.

Secured airport parking
You can park your car at the airport or close to the airport depending on your budget. All airport car parks include transfers to the airport and then back to your car park.

Meet and greet airport parking
Simply drive to the terminal, meet your driver, let them park your car for you, and the driver will drop your car back at the terminal ready for your return. A great option when travelling with a family.

Airport hotels with parking
Airport hotel with parking deals are the most convenient package and a money-saver too. Have a leisurely journey the day before your flight and enjoy a good night's sleep, a decent breakfast and a relaxed, comfortable start to your holiday.


Car Parking Options

It is important to know what different types of airport parking services offer.

Airport Park and Ride
The most common parking service at airports - just as with city centre park and rides the service will pick you up and return you to your car which will stay securely in the car park.

Valet airport parking
Removes the need for you to park your car - instead, everything operates from one arrivals/departures area. When you arrive here a driver will park your car for you while you catch the transfer bus to the airport. When you return to the car park your car will be brought to you at the arrivals/departure area.

On-airport parking
Is parking that is within the airport boundary - despite being within the airport it is sensible to check the transfer times and distance to the terminals, as airports can be deceptively big. In general the closer you are to the terminal the more you pay for the convenience.

Off-airport parking
Is parking that is located outside the airport boundary - despite being outside the airport boundaries it is worth checking the transfer times from these car parks as, very occasionally, they are closer than on-airport facilities.

Holiday airport parking
Is for customers travelling during the busy holiday periods - usually defined by the period of peak holiday time from March until October, holiday parking caters for anybody flying from a UK airport for their vacation.

LONDON AIRPORT PARKINGS

Heathrow Airport

Heathrow is the airport operator and official Heathrow parking provider. If you are looking to park at the airport, there are a number of options open to you.

Long Stay
Long Stay airport parking is suitable for all travelers. With regular transfers to the terminals, Long Stay is ideal for holidays or longer trips away. Save money by booking online at  Heathrow parking website. 

Drive-up prices
-First day: £22.00*
-Each additional 24 hour period or part thereof: £17.20*

Long Stay Peak Rates
-First day: £25.30*
-Each additional 24 hour period or part thereof: £19.80*
 
Peak periods:
-February Half Term
-Easter
-Whitsun: mid May – mid June
-October Half Term
-Christmas: 20 December – 5 January 

Business Parking
Business Parking is located close to the terminals with a fast and frequent transfer service.

Short Stay
Short Stay Parking is available at each terminal, a short distance from the entrance, and is recommended for stays of up to five hours.

Heathrow Valet Parking
Valet service offers the convenience of dropping your car at the terminal forecourt and having it delivered back to you on your return.

London City Airport

London City Airport offers Short and Main Stay car parking facilities, conveniently located just minutes from the Terminal. Car Parking can be pre-booked online at preferential rates. Book 4 days for just £27.50* per day, or save from 50% on bookings of 9 days and more. Pre-booking is only available for stays on 24 hours or more.

The Short Stay car park is located nearest to the Terminal - just 2 minutes away. The Main Stay is just beyond that with the furthest bay being 7 minutes away.
There are payment machines in the Terminal Foyer. To pay just insert your parking entry ticket, pay and take an exit ticket which you'll need to insert into the exit barrier. Alternatively you can pay by credit card at the barriers. 

A free bicycle parking area is located underneath the DLR viaduct opposite the turning to the front of the Terminal building.
Disabled car parking is available in the Short Stay car park at a reduced rate.
To enter the car park passengers should note that we have a 3.3 metre height restriction on all vehicles entering.

Stansted Airport

If you are looking for Stansted parking for a holiday or longer trip, the Long or Mid Stay Stansted Airport car parks will suit your requirements.

Long Stay (8 days from £73.00*)
The main Stansted Long Stay Car Park is a few minutes' ride from the terminal by free courtesy coach.

Mid Stay (8 days from £77.00*)
The Stansted Mid Stay Car Park is slightly closer to the terminal building.

Short Stay Parking at Stansted
If you are looking for Stansted parking for a short time – such as when meeting family or friends from a flight or seeing someone off – you will find the Stansted Short Stay Car Parks located next to the terminal.

Stansted Valet Parking
Stansted Valet Parking offers convenience at a competitive price. If you select this Stansted Airport parking option you simply drop your car off on the terminal forecourt when you arrive and have it delivered back to you when you return.



Luton Airport

Long Term Car Park (8 days from £59.49*)
Long Term Car Park is situated just 10 minutes from the terminal via 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, bus transfer service. The Long Term Car Park offers excellent value for money and is suitable for all stay durations.

Mid Term Car Park (8 days from £69.49*)
This car park is conveniently located on the main approach to the airport and is ideally suited for both the business and leisure traveller. The car park is just a two minute transfer by bus to the terminal which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Short Term Car Park (8 days from £88.99*)
Short Term Parking is a premium product, which is situated just minutes from the terminal. Parking for motorcycles is available free of charge in the Short Term Car Park.

Meet and Greet (8 days from £91.99*)
Drop your car right outside the terminal in dedicated secure compound where you will be greeted by highly trained staff who will then park your car for you. Meet and Greet service is the only one based closer to the terminal than the Short Term Car Park and offers the ultimate in speed and convenience for both the business and leisure traveller.

The Airport offers the following parking, drop off and pick up options which are also detailed  below:
1.    Mid Term Car Park - FREE Drop Off, FREE Pick Up and FREE Parking for up to 30 minutes1. 2 minute2 FREE bus ride to the terminal.
2.    Short Term Car Park -Drop Off, Pick Up and Parking £3.80 for 30 minutes. 4 minute walk to the terminal.
3.    Priority Set Down - Drop Off or Pick Up. £1.00 for up to 10 minutes. Cars must not be left unattended. 2 minute walk to the terminal
